SpartanNash Helping Hands

Helping Hands Day is SpartanNash’s annual day of community service. Last year, more than 700 Associates from the food solutions company teamed up to prepare disaster relief meal boxes and personal hygiene kits. The boxes – which were equivalent to 500,000 meals – were donated to nonprofit partner Convoy of Hope to be distributed following natural disasters such as floods, hurricanes and tornadoes. The 2025 Helping Hands Day goal is to match or exceed these disaster relief donations, so essentials like food, water and hygiene items are available when they’re needed most.
