DeVos Place Giving Away Wedding Reception and Mini-Moon to One Lucky Couple
All Entries Will Receive Opportunity for Half Off Reception Package
Grand Rapids – ASM Global staff at DeVos Place are giving couples whose weddings were affected by COVID-19 the opportunity to win a wedding reception outside on the DeVos Place Patio as well as a mini-honeymoon at the Amway Grand Plaza. Many couples have had to adjust their wedding plans over the past few months to accommodate restrictions within the current pandemic, including holding virtual ceremonies, scaling down or postponing their receptions, and rescheduling their honeymoons. Newlyweds now have the chance to celebrate their love in an outdoor space and enjoy a staycation right in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids.
One lucky couple will win the opportunity to host their wedding reception on the DeVos Place Patio along the Grand River for up to 80 guests. In addition, the couple will win a “mini-moon” featuring an overnight stay at the Amway Grand Plaza, a $100 gift certificate good for any of the Amway property restaurants, as well as a basket full of local Grand Rapids goodies. All couples that enter the giveaway will have their wedding photo featured on the DeVos Place website and social media. Additionally, all entries will receive the opportunity to reserve the DeVos Place patio for their own reception with a package priced at half off the regular rate.
The reception must be held primarily outside on the DeVos Place patio and guests must adhere to venue rules and restrictions to ensure that the most recent government mandated health guidelines are being followed. This giveaway is open to couples who were married during the COVID-19 pandemic. The winning couple's reception must be booked within 2020 to receive the space free of charge. Date is based on availability. Included in the event space are: a microphone, sound system (play your own music), technical support, electrical service, insurance, security, lighting (string lights), tables and chairs. Items not previously listed, including food and beverage through DeVos Place’s exclusive catering provider, Amway Grand Plaza, are not included in the complimentary package, and may result in additional expenses.
