ANSYS Workshop

ANSYS Workshop | June 12

Join ANSYS for a free, hands-on workshop focusing on E-Motor Sound Simulation at the SAE NVH 2019 conference in Grand Rapids, MI. Open to all SAE NVH registrants, we will discuss how ANSYS solutions create a workflow that addresses CAE acoustic simulation, creating sound renderings and sound quality improvement all within one platform.

During the hands-on workshop, attendees will be introduced to the concepts of human perception in CAE sound simulation. Electromagnetic modelization is achieved with ANSYS MAXWELL, Dynamic behavior including vibration and acoustic Radiation with ANSYS MECHANICAL, Sound Quality and Sound improvement with ANSYS VRXPERIENCE SOUND.

The objective of the session is to introduce engineers to the workflows and simulations required to leverage the powerful ANSYS platform in the multi-physics CAE simulation around sound evaluation and improvement of an e-motor.  We will discuss new and exciting features affording engineers the ability to engage in a full circle evaluation all in one software platform and address the possibilities this opens for collaboration among different groups.

Join our experts and learn:
  • How to simulate and improve the sound of an e-motor from CAD to sound rendering
  • How to analyze and measure the sound quality of each component of the e-motor
  • How to do global sound design for an e-motor
