ArtPrize 10


In 2018 DeVos Place will celebrate 10 years of participating in ArtPrize. DeVos Place has long served as a catalyst, and a vital space to convene, think, witness, ponder, and/or inspire you to be engaged in art. We are excited to be part of this ten-year daring adventure that offers the perfect gathering spot for artists. It is our desire that your ArtPrize 10 experience at DeVos Place will be full of fun, creativity, a little tension, honest conversation and a modicum of humor.


DeVos Place is located in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. Our riverfront setting is the perfect backdrop for all types of Art. Our venue has over 500 linear feet of wall space and over 5000 square feet of exterior space, sympathetic to many mediums of art. We are seeking artists whose work celebrates culture, heritage, diversity of form, life and tradition. Simply defined: ART -noun 1. the quality, production, expression, or realm, according to aesthetic principles, of what is beautiful, appealing, or of more than ordinary significance. DeVos Place will also serve as a water hydration station where patrons can fill their water bottles at the water fountains located on the first floor in the grand gallery.
